An Interview with Kyle Emery-Peck

Tell us about yourself.

Freelance photographer based in SF that's been riding bikes every day since I was 12. I am interested in mountain bikes mostly these days.

A critical moment in my life was getting my first BMX. (7th grade) A GT Vertigo. The following year (8th grade), I got my first real camera—an Olympus OM-1.

Tell us one positive thing you took away from 2020

I started dating my Girlfriend. 2020 was rough, to say the least, but life was better sharing it with her. She's the only one in my pod:)

Tribute

The first person that comes to mind is my Dad. A teacher by profession had a way of showing me, versus telling me lessons. Even if I didn't understand what he was showing me at the time. I am very fortunate to have had a dad that was a great role model and never told me how to live my own life but show me.

What's Next

Just appreciate the rainy season here in the Bay Area. It's a magical time to be riding MTB. Hopefully, I get vaccinated in the next couple of months too:)
